3M Scotch-Weld advanced formulations of high-strength structural adhesives are engineered to achieve permanent high strength bonds with many materials such as metals, glass, ceramics, wood, technical plastics and rubbers, etc. These structural adhesives have enough cohesive and shear strength to permanently bond high-strength materials and are powerful enough to replace mechanical fasteners and welds. Many 3M structural adhesives are specified for use in the aircraft industry and also command a wide range of applications in the electronics and automotive industries.

3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive EC-3964

3M Scotch-Weld EC-3964 - a solution version of 3M Structural Adhesive Film AF 147 - is a one part modified epoxy liquid structural adhesive which can be sprayed, brushed, or flow applied. Can be sprayed on screen without filling holes. Cured bonds have high shear and peel strength. Excellent performance to 350°F (177°C). Typical application is to bond screen in sound suppression panels on aircraft engine nacelles.
Requires dry ice shipment, storage at 0°F (-18°C) or lower for maximum storage life.
Color: Light Tan
Available in 1 gallon packing

3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive EC-3984

3M Scotch-Weld EC-3984 is a sprayable, one part modified epoxy liquid adhesive. It is a solution version of 3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesive Film AF 3109-2. Cure temperature ranges from 225°F (107°C) to 350°F (177°C). It has improved high temperature performance compared to conventional 250°F (121°C) curing adhesives. Low volatiles during cure permits low pressure bonding. Viscosity minimizes blockage on perforated acoustic components. Excellent strength from -67°F (-55°C) to 300°F (149°C) in either metal to metal or honeycomb sandwich applications, and is compatible with most epoxy-graphite composites. It is commonly used for bonding wire mesh on engine nacelles, thrust reversers, and acoustic panels for aircraft and aircraft engines.
