3M Non-Structural Adhesives vary in strength from repositionable to strength equal to or greater than the strength of the substrate being bonded. These adhesives are typically less than 1000 psi and are generally used to bond materials in cushions, gaskets, insulation, veneers, decorative trims, packaging, paneling, countertops, furniture, woodworking and general assembly. 3M provides formulations with a wide range of bond strengths to meet your specific requirements:
-Hot melt adhesives melt and flow under heat to wet the substrates and make bonds quickly upon cooling. Applications range from sealing to bonding automotive interior trim.
-Rubber adhesives are solvent-based or water-based and solidify through evaporation of the carrier. Products are designed for adhesion to various substrates, application methods, and environmental resistance of the bonds.
-Contact bond adhesives are usually rolled, brushed, or sprayed on the two surfaces to be bonded and permitted to become dry to the touch with a variety of open times. When the surfaces are pressed together, near ultimate bond strength is achieved.

3M Fastbond Contact Adhesive 30NF

3M Fastbond Contact Adhesive 30NF is a economical, water-dispersed high strength polychloroprene contact adhesive. High immediate bond strength and long bonding range. The adhesive dries in about 30 minutes under normal temperatures and humidities to make bonds. The bond must be completed within four hours. It is non-flammable in the wet state, post-formable and heat resistant. It bonds most foamed plastics, plastic laminate, wood, plywood, wood veneer, and canvas to themselves and to each other. Not recommended for drywall laminating or for bonding metal surfaces (unless metal surfaces are completely dried by force drying and protected from moisture).
Meets MIL-A-24179A, Type I.
Color: Green, Neutral
Available in 1 quart, 1 gallon, 5 gallon packing.

3M Scotch-Weld Neoprene Contact Adhesive 1357 (EC-1357)

3M Scotch-Weld Neoprene Contact Adhesive 1357 is a high performance contact adhesive that provides a long bonding range of approximately 30 minutes, with excellent initial strength and high heat resistance. Adheres exceptionally well to many decorative plastic laminates, paper honeycomb, rubber, cloth, metal, wood and foamed glass. Rapid build up to a very high strength bond for metal. Can be sprayed, brushed, rolled or flow applied.
Meets MIL-A-21366A, MMM-A-121.
Color: Gray-Green
Available in 1 pint, 1 quart, 5 gallon packing
Note: 1357 is identical to EC-1357 in chemical composition. EC-1357 adhesive is labeled, packaged, tested, and certified for aircraft and aerospace applications.

3M Scotch-Weld Nitrile Plastic Adhesive 1099 (EC-1099)

3M Scotch-Weld Nitrile Plastic Adhesive 1099 is a high performance plastic adhesive that is fast drying, heat curable, and has good resistance to plasticizer migration. Air dried bonds have high strength, resists weathering, water, oil, plasticizer migration, aliphatic fuels. It is excellent for bonding most vinyl extrusions and sheetings. Also bonds many fabrics and foams. Note: it may stain light colored, flexible vinyls; check before using. It is not recommended for bonding polyethylene or polypropylene. Medium viscosity for brush or flow applications.
Color: Tan
Available in 1 quart packing
Note: 1099 is identical to EC-1099 B/A in chemical composition. EC-1099 adhesive is labeled, packaged, tested, and certified for aircraft and aerospace applications.

3M Scotch-Weld Neoprene Rubber And Gasket Adhesive 1300

3M Scotch-Weld Neoprene Rubber And Gasket Adhesive 1300 is a solvent type synthetic rubber based high performance adhesive. Drying time up to 4 minutes, and bonding range up to 12 minutes. Bonds with high immediate strength and good heat resistance, from -30°F (-34°C) to 300°F (149°C). It is a general-purpose adhesive that can be used for bonding most rubber and gasketing materials to most metal, bake enamel, wood, plastics, neoprene, SBR and butyl rubber.
1300 meets MIL-M-81288.
1300L (lower solids viscosity version) meets MMM-A-121.
Color: Yellow
1300 available in 5 oz tube, and 1 pint, 1 quart, 1 gallon packing
1300L available in 1 quart, 1 gallon, 5 gallon packing

3M Super 77 Spray Adhesive

3M Super 77 Spray Adhesive is a high tack, high coverage, and fast drying synthetic elastomers adhesive, for permanently attaching many lightweight materials, such as foils, carpeting, many lightweight foams, paper, plastics, cardboard, felt and cloth to painted or unpainted metals, wood, hardboard and other base materials.
Uniform spray coat, bonds quickly in 15 seconds. For extra strong bonds, spray both surfaces and allow a minimum of 30 seconds drying time.
Color: Translucent
Available in 10 oz, 24 oz aerosol can
